President Barack Obama on Sunday joked that his secret motivation for seeking a second term in the White House is to keep his daughters under armed guard and away from boys."I understand that teenage-hood is complicated," he told ABC, adding: "I should also point out that I have men with guns that surround them, and a great incentive for running for re-election is that it means they never get in the car with a boy who had a beer. That means I'm going to be working hard on that reelection campaign." In an interview to mark Father's Day, the president, who was raised without a father, said that "he could not ask for better kids". A huge advantage of his job, he added, was living "over the store" because at 6.30 every evening, barring a national emergency, he is able to have dinner with his girls. Mr Obama spent the first part of the weekend like many other American fathers, playing golf. His game however was national news, as it was designed to promote friendlier relations with Republicans.
